Joe Elliott is a native of Catawba, North Carolina. He graduated high school at Bandy's High School in 2004 and was under the direction of Mr. Sam Harbinson.  After high school, he attended Catawba Valley Community College where he received his Associates Degree in Information Systems Networking, and Basic Law Enforcement Training.

While under the direction of Mr. Sam Harbinson at Bandy's High School,  Mr. Elliott obtained multiple awards and honors.  Some of which are the John Phillip Sousa Award,  MVP Multiple Years, Over all Best Soloist at Myrtle Beach, and The Harbinson Musical Arts Award.

Mr. Elliott has played in the Newton-Conover Community Band, and Mitchell College Community Band for 10 years.  He also participated in the Jazz Ensemble for both community bands. He has also played at multiple churches, and is the current director of the Olivet Handbell Choir.  He also served briefly as the interim handbell choir director at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.

Mr. Elliott currently works with his family Computer Business, ESP LLC, which is located in Conover.  He is also a Corporal at the Catawba County Sheriffs Office.

Mr Elliott and his wife, Kayla, have been married 4 years.  They currently reside in Mount Holly, North Carolina. They are also expecting their first child in September.
